The Parish Council has now received funding from the Big Lottery Fund for the purchase of a defibrillator, this has now been installed near to the entrance of FitzHerbert School, training will be arranged in the near future.

A Parish Council has now collated a petition for a pedestrian bridge over the brook on the A515, over 276 people have signed the petition and this will be handed over to Councillor Simon Spencer from Derbyshire County Council.
